Zusammenfassung
Ehe wir es wagen, uns in die Niederungen der niedrigdimensionalen Halbleiterphysik zu bewegen, sollten ein paar Dinge klargestellt sein. Dieses Gebiet ist noch relativ neu, und daher gibt es auch keine Lehrbücher über dieses Gebiet als Ganzes, und deutschsprachige Lehrbücher darüber gibt es erst recht nicht. Gehen wir also schrittweise vor, und klettern Dimension für Dimension nach unten, so lange, bis wir bei den nulldimensionalen Systemen ankommen, und Sie am Ende verstehen können, warum ich keine Quantencomputer ausstehen kann. Beginnen wir mit den zweidimensionalen Elektronengasen.
