Abstract

At present we know of four types of forces as basic interactions in Nature. The strongest of them is the nuclear force, attracting protons and neutrons inside the atomic nucleus, although its range is limited to distances of the order of the diameter of the atomic nucleus, i.e., \(10^{-13}\) cm.
