Abstract
In this final chapter, I take stock and evaluate the options available to antiphysicalists in the light of the considerations provided in this work. While none of the available theories of phenomenal consciousness comes without severe shortcomings, of the two which appear most promising, emergent Russellian dualism and emergent Russellian panpsychism, the latter view seems overall clearly preferable. The main reason is that as I have argued in the last chapter, this position can achieve a better score in handling mental causation problems.
