Abstract

During athletic activity, there is always a realistic risk of serious injury. The quantum of injury suffered is directly proportional to the force of external forces, which the athlete bears. Providing rapid medical care and immediate transportation to the nearest equipped medical center should be the primary objective of the primary caregivers. The injury pattern and the initial therapy influence the prognosis and the subsequent rehabilitation of the athlete.
