Zusammenfassung

Durch die zunehmende Entwicklung neuer Katheter- und Embolisationsmaterialien und insbesondere vor dem Hintergrund der positiven Schlaganfallsstudien zur Thrombektomie hat sich das Indikationsspektrum neuroradiologisch-interventioneller Maßnahmen in den letzten Jahren erheblich erweitert. Hauptindikationen zur endovaskulär-interventionellen Therapie sind: endovaskulär-mechanische Rekanalisationsbehandlung (Thrombektomie) bei akuter Ischämie, Verschluss von intrakraniellen Aneurysmen mit Platinspiralen und/oder Stents/Flow-Divertern, Verschluss von AV-Malformationen mit Gewebekleber, Partikeln und Platinspiralen, Verschluss von AV-Malformationen mit Gewebekleber, Partikeln und Platinspiralen, Dilatation und Stentbehandlung (perkutane transluminale Angioplastie + Stent) von extra- und intrakraniellen Gefäßstenosen, Devaskularisation gefäßreicher Tumoren oder bei Epistaxis (Glomustumoren, Meningeome, Nasenrachenfibrome, Metastasen).
