Zusammenfassung
Die Planungsverfahren, die in diesem Kapitel behandelt werden, gehen von Prozessen aus, die unabhängig voneinander ausgeführt werden. Entscheidende Aussagen und Verfahren, die für das Fachgebiet Echtzeitsysteme zentrale Bedeutung erlangt haben, werden hier abgeleitet und entwickelt. Dies beginnt mit der Betrachtung zur Komplexität des Planens (siehe Abschn. 3.1). Danach werden die beiden wichtigsten Strategien der Echtzeitplanung, zum einen das Planen bei dynamischen Prioritäten siehe Abschn. 3.2) und zum anderen das Planen bei statischen Prioritäten (siehe Abschn. 3.3) vorgestellt. Bei beiden Strategien werden periodische Prozesse als Planungsobjekte vorausgesetzt. Sind jedoch Prozesse dabei, die diese Voraussetzungen nicht erfüllen, dann spricht man von heterogenen Prozessmengen, für die Planungsverfahren entwickelt wurden, die auf den bislang eingeführten ausbauen und diese erweitern (siehe Abschn. 3.4). Während Planungsverfahren, die auf Prioritäten basieren, auf ein Betriebssystem oder Laufzeitsystem angewiesen sind, lässt sich das dann folgende zyklische Planungsverfahren (siehe Abschn. 3.5) unmittelbar in Anwendungsprogramme integrieren. Zum Abschluss werden die Planungsverfahren anhand einer Reihe von Kriterien miteinander verglichen und hinsichtlich ihrer Anwendbarkeit überprüft(siehe Abschn. 3.6).
