Abstract
iPRP is a MP transport protocol based on UDP [155]. It was developed as part of a PhD thesis [156] using the concept of PRP [18]. The protocol provides high reliability by means of redundant MP communication in IP networks for smart grids. More specifically, multiple e2e paths are used to send duplicated packets of chosen UDP flows.
