Zusammenfassung

Die Sandsteindiagenese ist das für praktische Anwendungen wichtigste Teilgebiet der Diagenese. Eigenschaften von Sandsteinen als Speichergesteine für Kohlenwasserstoffe, metallische Erze und Trinkwasser hängen grundlegend von ihrer Diagenese ab. Der wichtigste Teilaspekt der Sandsteindiagenese ist die Entwicklung des Porenvolumens während der Versenkungsdiagenese.
