Zusammenfassung

Wettbewerb ist eine tragende Säule der Wirtschaft, denn er spornt die Betroffenen, wie im Sport, zur Erbringung von Bestleistungen an. Technologische Spitzenleistungen haben einerseits in vielen Ländern zur Verbesserung der Lebensbedingungen geführt aber leider auch zu negativen Auswirkungen, z. B. zu kriegerischen Auseinandersetzungen. Der industrielle Wettbewerb einzelner Länder hat sich in den zurückliegenden Dekaden zum globalen Wettbewerb entwickelt. Deutsche Firmen konkurrieren mit ihren europäischen Nachbarn aber auch mit Firmen anderer Kontinente.
