Zusammenfassung

Eine Zucker- und Fettreiche Ernährung begünstigt die Entstehung von Übergewicht, das auf besonders vielfältige Weise die Entstehung von Krebserkrankungen begünstigt. In diesem Kapitel erklären wir, weshalb ein hoher Zuckerkonsum aber auch die Gesundheit von Normalgewichtigen gefährdet und uns sogar schneller altern lässt. Zudem stellen wir einige Umwelteinflüsse vor, die die Aktivität unseres Stoffwechsels dauerhaft beeinflussen können.
