Physiologische Veränderungen nach Anlage eines intestinalen Stomas

Zusammenfassung

Patienten mit Stoma im distalen Ileum oder Kolon entwickeln wenige klinisch relevante physiologische Veränderungen. Erhöhte Verluste von Flüssigkeit, Kalium, Natrium, Vitamin B12 und Eisen können jedoch bei Ileostoma- und speziell Jejunostomaträgern vorkommen. Eine Diversionskolitis im ausgeschalteten Darmsegment zwigt sich häufiger, sie ist in bis zu 30 % der Fälle klinisch relevant und nach der Stomarückverlagerung stets reversibel – selbst bei Patienten mit M. Crohn.
