Zusammenfassung

Posttraumatische Bewegungseinschränkungen gehören zu den häufigsten Komplikationen nach Ellenbogenverletzungen oder Eingriffen. Der Verlust der vollen Beugefähigkeit im Bereich des Ellenbogens führt zu Einschränkungen bei Tätigkeiten des alltäglichen Lebens wie der körperlichen Hygiene, der Nahrungsaufnahme oder des Telefonierens. Eine Einschränkung der Extension kann zu Problemen beim Erreichen oder Positionieren von Gegenständen führen (Murray et al. 2011).
