Zusammenfassung

Zur Darstellung kommen die Therapiemöglichkeiten für Menschen mit Pädophilie und Hebephilie sowie für Jugendliche mit einer sexuellen Ansprechbarkeit für das vor- und/oder frühpubertäre Körperschema. Das Kapitel zielt darauf ab, spezifische Bedingungen der Behandlung dieser Zielgruppen zu beschreiben und hilfreiche therapeutische Prinzipien und Grundhaltungen zu erläutern. Dabei wird die sexuelle Ansprechbarkeit auf Kinder als sexuelle Orientierung konzeptualisiert, die von den Betroffenen als Teil der allgemeinen Identität akzeptiert oder abgelehnt werden kann, was maßgeblichen Einfluss auf den Therapieverlauf hat. In diesem Zusammenhang wird auf realistische und unrealistische Therapieziele eingegangen, der Einfluss sozialer und sexueller Wahrnehmung beschrieben und die Vorgehensweise mit Risikosituationen in der Therapie erläutert. Zudem wird auf den Umgang mit häufig auftretenden komorbiden Erkrankungen eingegangen und das Spektrum medikamentöser Behandlungsoptionen vorgestellt. Der letzte Abschnitt widmet sich der Angehörigen- und Nachsorgearbeit, die für diese Zielgruppe von besonderer Bedeutung sind.
