Zusammenfassung
Ärztliche Fehler sind häufig, so benennt eine aktuelle Hochrechnung den Medical Error als dritthäufigste Todesursache in den USA (Makary u. Daniel 2016). Ärztliche Fehler werden meist primär mit Patientenverwechslungen, allergischen Reaktionen durch Fehlmedikation oder Wundinfektionen assoziiert. Diese Fehler existieren, sind aber durch konsequentes Qualitätsmanagement verhältnismäßig gut kontrollierbar.
