Abstract
Often in global organizations, data becomes segmented by business lines and geographical boundaries as the business grows. This creates barriers in optimizing the performance of systems, managing risks across borders and cross selling services. In this case, the executive team of a global financial institution realized that data integration was necessary to better serve clients, cross sell services and accurately measure and mitigate risk based upon a holistic risk profile for each activity. This chapter explains how X-Act® OBC Platform was used to evaluate the operational risks and identify prescriptive solutions that would allow for the successful integration of data across all the financial institution’s client services.
