Zusammenfassung
Die Motorik mit ihrer riesigen Bandbreite an Fertigkeiten gehört zu einer der höheren menschlichen Leistungen. Sie wird überwiegend automatisch sowohl aus dem Rückenmark, einem Großteil des Gehirns als auch aus der Peripherie wie Haut, Muskeln, Sehnen und Gelenken gesteuert. Allen voran haben Gelenkrezeptoren einen unbewussten, aber maßgeblichen Einfluss auf die Grobmotorik. In der Funktion geschwächte große Gelenke ziehen so zwangsläufig eingeschränkte Gelenkmotorik mit gleichzeitiger kompensatorischer Motorik zu Ungunsten der Wirbelsäule nach sich. Physiotherapeutisches Training bei Rückenschmerzen zielt auf bewusste, korrigierende motorische Steuerung dieser Gelenkteile ab, um so die Bewegungsrichtung des Beines, Armes, Beckens oder Rumpfes, wie gering auch immer, zu korrigieren. Dazu muss die reflexartige motorische Beeinträchtigung des Gelenkes, von den Gelenkrezeptoren ausgelöst, durch bewusst ausgeführte Motorik behoben werden.
