Zusammenfassung

Ein 72-jähriger Patient mit grenzgradiger Nüchternglukose, normalem oralen Glukosetoleranztest, einem BMI von 38, einer gut eingestellten Hypertonie, nächtlichem Kribbeln seit 5 Jahren, kleinen Bulbusplaques und nicht bisher zum Infarkt führenden Koronarstenosen, fragt nach den Möglichkeiten der Diabetesprävention. Hat er nicht schon einen Diabetes „ohne Hyperglykämie“?
