Zusammenfassung

Die Behandlung der pAVK umfasst einen therapeutischen und rehabilitativen Ansatz. Im zentralen Fokus des physiotherapeutischen Konzeptes steht das Gehtraining über komplexe Beeinflussung des gesamten Gefäß- und Muskelsystems. Aerobes Training verbessert vaskuläre Transportkapazität, Bewegungsfreiheit sowie Lebensqualität und senkt die Schmerzen. Der klassische Gehstreckentest über Steuerung der Belastungsdauer (Steigung und Geschwindigkeit) wird mit 90 % der freien Gehstrecke als therapeutische Dosis eingesetzt. Alternativ sind Laufband, Armergometer, Nordic Walking und Krafttraining sowie die klassischen Rollübungen möglich. Vorgestellt wird ein praktisches Trainingskonzept als Einzel-, Gruppen- oder häusliche Therapie. Ergänzend werden Verfahren zur Nutzung gefäßregulatorischer Mechanismen und zur Belastungsverarbeitung vorgestellt.
