Zusammenfassung
In welchem Verhältnis stehen Lebenskunst und Glück zueinander? Was ist „wahres Glück“? Wo liegen Unterschiede zwischen Glück, guter Laune und Wohlbefinden? Diesen Fragen ist Kap. 6 gewidmet. Es wird außerdem auf eine ganz besondere Form des Wohlbefindens eingegangen – auf Flourishing (Aufblühen). Denn nicht alle Menschen, die glücklich sind, blühen regelrecht auf. Es wird der Frage nachgegangen, was Aufblühen genau bedeutet und inwieweit Lebenskunst dabei behilflich sein kann. Außerdem werden die Zusammenhänge zwischen Lebenskunst und Gefühlen wie Ängstlichkeit und Depressivität untersucht. Hilft Lebenskunst bei der Bewältigung von belastenden Situationen?
