Zusammenfassung

Die Stoffklasse der Ether besitzt die allgemeine Strukturformel R–O–R′. Ether können sehr leicht durch die Williamson‐Ethersynthese aus Alkoholaten und Halogenalkanen hergestellt werden. Sie werden hauptsächlich in der organischen Synthesechemie als Lösungsmittel eingesetzt.
