Zusammenfassung
Dieses Kapitel umreißt den jetzigen Stand der klinischen Forschung auf diesem Gebiet und hebt dabei jene Anwendungen hervor, die für den auf diesem Gebiet praktisch tätigen Gynäkologen und Urologen von besonderem Nutzen sind. Insbesondere werden auch Perspektiven in Bezug auf traumatische Beckenbodenschäden aufgezeigt – nicht nur für die klinische oder bildgebende Diagnose, sondern auch für die Prävention und chirurgische Behandlung dieser bisher vollständig vernachlässigten Form von Geburtstrauma.
