Zusammenfassung
Aspiration ist definitionsgemäß die Inhalation fester oder flüssiger Substanzen in das Tracheobronchialsystem. Klinisch relevant für die Chirurgie ist die Aspiration von Magen- oder Darminhalt bei stationären Patienten, im unmittelbaren perioperativen Umfeld oder in der Notaufnahme.
