Chirurgie beim Lokalrezidiv des Magen- und Kardiakarzinoms: Potenziale und Limitationen

Zusammenfassung

Rezidive nach kurativer Resektion eines Magenkarzinoms sind mit einem schlechten Langzeitüberleben der Patienten assoziiert. Bei einem limitierten Lokalrezidiv ohne gleichzeitige Fernmetastasen oder Peritonealkarzinose besteht in einer stark selektionierten Subgruppe von Patienten die Möglichkeit, durch eine erneute chirurgische Resektion das Überleben zu verbessern. In diesem Kapitel werden die Potenziale einer erneuten Resektion anhand der Analyse der vorliegenden Studien bei gleichzeitiger Berücksichtigung der Limitationen dargestellt.
