Zusammenfassung
Das Management von akuten Intoxikationen in der Intensivmedizin ist Gegenstand dieses Kapitels. Da kaum Leitlinien und nur wenige randomisierte kontrollierte Studien zu Vergiftungen existieren, beruhen viele akutmedizinische Maßnahmen auf retrospektiven Analysen und Expertenmeinungen. Neben der häufigen Alkoholintoxikation werden Intoxikationen mit Drogen und Kohlenmonoxid sowie Medikamentenintoxikationen besprochen.
