Zusammenfassung

Etwa ein Viertel aller Frauen im reproduktionsfähigen Alter erlebt mindestens einen Abort. Als weitaus häufigste Ursache für Frühaborte sind spontan entstandene chromosomale Störungen zu nennen. Darüber hinaus können anatomische Fehlbildungen, endokrine, mikrobiologische sowie Umwelt- und Ernährungsfaktoren bei der Pathogenese eine Rolle spielen. Im folgenden Kapitel werden Empfehlungen zu Diagnostik und leitliniengerechter Therapie bei Spontanaborten zusammengefasst.
