Zusammenfassung

Pustel bildende Erkrankungen sind eine ätiologisch heterogene Gruppe. Aufgrund ihrer Prädilektionsstellen werden sie in lokalisierte und generalisierte Pustulosen eingeteilt. Außerdem unterscheidet man zwischen Formen, die überwiegend im Kindesalter oder Erwachsenenalter auftreten. Pusteln sind nicht zwangsläufig Ausdruck einer Infektion mit Bakterien, Pilzen oder Viren. Die Mehrzahl der Pustel bildenden Erkrankungen der Haut sind primär nicht infektiös bedingt. Das Auftreten steriler Pusteln wird als Ausdruck zahlreicher, mehr oder weniger eigenständiger Dermatosen verstanden.
