Zusammenfassung
Eine Reihe von benignen Hauttumoren leitet sich von Keratinozyten der Epidermis oder der Hautanhangsgebilde ab. In diesem Kapitel werden benigne Hauttumoren mit epidermaler Differenzierung behandelt. Benigne Adnextumoren werden in dem Kap. 104, „Tumoren der Hautadnexe“ behandelt. Benigne epidermale Tumoren sind gekennzeichnet durch die Expression verschiedener Zytokeratine. Es wird darauf hingewiesen, dass einige epidermale Tumoren, die in diesem Kapitel angeführt werden, klinisch und insbesondere histologisch Homologien zu epidermalen Nävi und diversen Verhornungsstörungen aufweisen.
