Zusammenfassung

Die interventionelle Bronchoskopie ist ein unverzichtbarer Bestandteil in der Versorgung endobronchialer Erkrankungen. Die Vielfalt der Methodik ermöglicht in den Händen erfahrener Untersucher eine flexible und patientenorientierte Therapie in der Behandlung von Obstruktionen, Blutungen und tracheobronchialer Fistelbildung. Hierbei kommen mechanische, medikamentöse und physikalische Verfahren zum Tragen mit dem Ziel der Symptomlinderung und Verbesserung der Lebensqualität. Der Erfolg dieser Verfahren konnte in zahlreichen Studien festgehalten werden, der Stellenwert der interventionellen Bronchoskopie ist durch die Verankerung in internationalen Leitlinien verdeutlicht.
