Abstract
Application of green building is a fast path to achieve sustainable development in the housing industry. It has become the consensus of the Insiders, but the key for the promotion of the green building is the awareness of the market to it. As the green building in China started relatively late, and many of its buyers is poorly understood. This article will study the awareness of the potential buyers to green building concept in Chongqing by statistical methods in order to determine the different classes of buyers who give the Level of understanding and acceptable level to the green building. So as to the housing market can do the customer segmentation and give convenience to the relevant government departments which draw up the development strategy of the green building.
