Zusammenfassung
Eine 17-jährige Patientin wird vom Kinderarzt wegen seit 5 Tagen bestehenden Fiebers sowie Husten eingewiesen. Trotz oraler antibakterieller Anbehandlung hatte sie weiter gefiebert. Der Husten war produktiv, jedoch berichtet die Patientin von zunehmender Kurzatmigkeit. Neben deutlich erhöhten Entzündungszeichen lässt sich radiologisch ein ausgeprägter Befund nachweisen. Bei deutlich reduziertem Allgemeinzustand und Sauerstoffbedarf wird die Patientin stationär aufgenommen. Vor Beginn einer empirischen Therapie erfolgt noch eine diagnostische Prozedur.
