Im Praxistest: Die Rolle von Identifikation bei Älteren, Kranken oder Unfallopfern

Zusammenfassung

Bislang haben wir viele Studien vorgestellt, die unsere Hypothesen unterstützen und die entweder im Labor, meist mit studentischen Probanden, relativ kurzfristige positive Effekte von Identifikation aufzeigen oder die im Feld positive Zusammenhänge zwischen Identifikation und ganz verschiedenen Indikatoren von Gesundheit und Wohlbefinden erkennen ließen. In diesen Feldstudien wurden aber immer gesunde Teilnehmer untersucht. Daher wollen wir nun auf einige Studien eingehen, die die Rolle von Identifikation in Kontexten untersuchten, in denen es um die Verarbeitung von Krankheiten oder Unfällen oder die Integration älterer Menschen ging.
