Zusammenfassung
HFV (»high frequency ventilation«) gehört zu den unkonventionellen Verfahren der respiratorischen Unterstützung. Im Gegensatz zur konventionellen Beatmung werden bei der HFV hohe Atemfrequenzen und kleine Atemhubvolumina angewandt.
