Abstract

Characteristics of uveitis cataract (Fig. 3.1) are presence of underlying systemic disease, poor tolerance to IOL, technical difficulty in cataract surgery due to maturity in cataract caused by deferred surgery, iris deformity, synechiae, and high rate of perioperative complications (such as glaucoma, uveitis and synechiae).
