Zusammenfassung

Die Thematik der kutanen Vaskulitiden und/oder Vaskulopathien ist eine äußerst vielgestaltige. Dies begründet sich in einer bunten Fülle an distinkten Entitäten auf der einen und einem begrenzten morphologischen Reaktionsmuster der Haut auf der anderen Seite. Ebenso vielfältig sind die klinischen Verläufe der kutanen Vaskulitiden, mit benignen, selbstlimitierenden Erkrankungen eines einzelnen Organs bis zu Multisystembeteiligungen mit schweren Verläufen und fatalem Ausgang. Hinzu kommt eine nomenklatorische Unschärfe bzgl. der Differenzierung einer Vaskulitis von Vaskulopathien und vice versa. Während die Vaskulitis eine Entzündung der Gefäße mit allen unten aufgeführten Kriterien darstellt, ist der Begriff der Vaskulopathie historischerweise definiert als Gefäßerkrankung mit partieller oder totaler Okklusion des Gefäßlumens ohne primär zugrunde liegenden entzündlichen Prozess (z. B. Koagulopathien). Da aber sekundär auch bei initial non-inflammatorischen Vaskulopathien entzündliche Veränderungen auftreten können, erscheint diese Differenzierung insbesondere in der dermatopathologischen Diagnostik nicht zielführend. Der Begriff der Vaskulopathien sollte daher als Oberbegriff für alle Formen der Gefäßerkrankungen (Vaskulitiden, Malformationen, Hyperplasien etc.) verwendet und im Sinne eines morphologischen Spektrums betrachtet werden.
