Abstract

The urbanization path in China in the last four decades demonstrates a profound process, transformative policies, and intertwined social, economic, and political features. Urbanization in no doubt enhanced the development capacity, lifted the wellbeing, and improved quality of life for Chinese cities. The challenges and issued along with the development are worth a deep understanding to carry forward sustainable urbanization in China.
