Zusammenfassung
„Bevor ich von meinen persönlichen Erfahrungen berichte, stelle ich mich erst einmal vor: Mein Name ist Sabine Brandner, ich bin 45 Jahre alt, 1,65 m groß und 56 kg schwer. Seit 10 Jahren arbeite ich als Fachärztin für Anästhesiologie und Intensivmedizin in einem kleinen, städtischen Krankenhaus. Wir machen ca. 6.500 Narkosen pro Jahr und betreuen eine Intensivstation mit 7 Betten. Ich bin mit meiner Arbeit zufrieden und mache sie sehr gern. Doch darum geht es nicht. Hier nun mein Bericht:…“ – Eine Kollegin muss operiert werden und berichtet, wie sie den Ablauf erlebt. Natürlich macht der Oberarzt selber die Narkose. Er muss eine RSI durchführen, aber darf er Succinylcholin verwenden? Welchen besonderen Gefahren ist Frau Brandner ausgesetzt? Wie verhalte ich mich, wenn ein Patient nach OP nicht so zufrieden mit der Behandlung ist?
