Vaginale Rejuvenation mit der Vagilase® – Methode

Zusammenfassung

Die intravaginale Anwendung eines non-ablativen langgepulsten Erbium:YAG-Lasers eignet sich zur Behandlung einer niedriggradigen bis mäßigen Beckenbodenschwäche mit Symptomen einer vaginalen Erschlaffung und/oder einer Belastungsinkontinenz (Stressinkontinenz ). Es findet eine photothermische Stimulation des bindegewebsreichen Gewebes mit konsekutiver Straffung der Vaginalwand und der kollagenreichen benachbarten Strukturen statt, mit dem Ziel, den Vaginalkanal zu straffen (Laserbehandlung bei vaginaler Erschlaffung) und die Kontraktionsfähigkeit zu verbessern, im Sinne einer besseren Stützung der Verschlussfunktion der Harnröhre (Laserbehandlung bei Belastungsinkontinenz). Lehrbuchartig wird die Anwendung dargestellt und beispielhaft ein Fotona-Lasersystem zur Durchführung der Vagilase-Methode vorgestellt.
