Die große Bedeutung, Alltagsbezüge zu nutzen oder herzustellen, ist den meisten Lehrern und Lehrerinnen, Schulbuchautoren oder Richtlinienexperten schon immer bewusst gewesen – das Ausmaß der Alltagschemie im Gesamtcurriculum und die Stellung zur Fachsystematik sind eher umstritten. Diese Diskussion soll in diesem Kapitel wiedergegeben werden.
