Zur Behandlung des Tourniquet-Syndroms mit Trasylol

Summary

When dogs were given experimental tourniquet shocks by constriction of a hind limb for five hours, Trasylol given in a dose of 50,000 KIU/kg body weight shortly before removal of the tourniquet reduced post-ischaemic oedemas from 63% to 48%.

The haematocrit, as a measure of haemoglobin concentration, rose as an effect of Trasylol administration by only 36% of the initial value as compared with 46% in control animals. Trasylol significantly improved the condition of the circulation, as determined by the pulse-blood pressure ratio (shock index). No influence on the development of hyperkaliemia, myoglobinuria, oliguria, and on the kinin system was found.

Zusammenfassung

Im experimentellen Tourniquet-Schock des Hundes wird nach fünfstündiger Abschnürung einer Hinterextremität die Entstehung des postischämischen Odems durch Trasylol in einer Dosierung von 50 000 KIE/kg Körpergewicht kurz vor Lösen des Tourniquets von 63% auf 48% vermindert. Der Hämatokrit als Maß für die Hämokonzentration steigt unter Trasylolwirkung nur um 36% des Ausgangswertes gegenüber 46% bei den Kontrolltieren an. Die Kreislaufsituation gemessen am Puls-Blutdruckquotienten (Schockindex) wird durch Trasylol signifikant gebessert. Ein Einfluß auf die Entwicklung der Hyperkaliämie, die Myoglobinurie und Oligurie sowie auf das Kininsystem konnte nicht nachgewiesen werden.
