Die postmortale Stereo-Angiographie zur Dokumentation des Coronarsystems

Summary

The assessment and documentation of experimental findings after surgical procedures on the coronary arteries necessitate a readily reproducible technique of angiography. Stereo-angiography with Bismuth contrast medium has been tested and advanced on 40 dog heart preparations. The author describes the preparation, the manufacture of the contrast medium as well as the technique of careful injection. He also describes the subsequent radiological technique. The most emphasis was placed on exclusively arterial filling, up to the arteriols. Only this technique permits control of the success of experimental surgical procedures on the myocardium in three planes.

Zusammenfassung

Die Beurteilung und Dokumentation experimenteller Befunde nach Eingriffen an den Coronararterien setzt eine leicht reproduzierbare Angiographietechnik voraus. An 40 Hunde-Herzpräparaten ist die Stereoangiographie mittels Wismutkontrast erprobt und ausgebaut worden. Die Präparation, die Herstellung des Kontrastmittels sowie die Technik einer schonenden Injektion sind ebenso wie die weitere Röntgenaufnahmetechnik beschrieben. Der größte Wert wurde auf eine ausschließlich arterielle Füllung, bis zu den Arteriolen hin, gelegt. Diese Technik erst erlaubt es, dreidimensional den Erfolg experimenteller Operationen am Myokard zu überprüfen.
