Abstract
Published reports of cancer registries’ data so far confined themselves to the categories of the International Classification of Diseases. Epidemiological conclusions pointed to differences in morbidity. Most workers feel that more light might be shed on the nature of these differences, if the categories could be subdivided by anatomical specification and/or by morphological diagnosis including behaviour, and by survival experience.
