Abstract
Adult patients with common acute lymphoblastic leukemia (cALL) have a poor prognosis despite an improvement of conventional chemotherapy. In patients lacking a suitable HLA identical donor of bone marrow (b.m.), intensive chemo-and radiotherapy and transplantation of in vitro purged autologous b.m. could be an alternative to induce long term remissions. We have therefore tested the in vitro cytotoxicity of the monoclonal anti CALLA antibodies (mAB) VIL-Al, VIB-C5 and VIB-E3 together with complement (C’).
