Die deutsche Gaswirtschaft erwartet für die Zukunft einen erheblichen Bedarf an Speicherraum für den Ausgleich saisonaler Gasverbrauchsschwankungen. Dies resultiert aus den immer inflexibler werdenden Bezugskonditionen der Erdgasimportverträge und dem ständing wachsenden Anteil des Erdgases am zeitlich ungünstig strukturierten Raumwärmemarkt. Im Beitrag wird ein Rechenverfahren zur Planung der mit dem Bau unterirdischer Speicher verbundenen Investitionen in Milliardenhöhe und die Anwendung risikoanalytischer Simulationsmethoden zur Vorbereitung von Investitionsentscheidungen demonstriert.

Summary

The German gas industry is expecting a considerable storage demand for the compensation of the seasonal variation in gas consumption. This results from natural gas import contracts becoming more and more inflexible and the steadily increasing share of natural gas in the field of roomheating which is badly structured with respect to time. Within the report a computing method for planning the enormous investments associated with underground storage and the use of risk-analysing simulation methods for preparing investment decisions is shown.
