Abstract

Allergic shock is conditioned by immunological factors. It is a consequence of the reaction between the sensitised cells and the specific antigen. Opinions still differ concerning the train of reactions which lead from the antigen-antibody union to the release of the chemical agents directly responsible for the clinical manifestations.
