Zusammenfassung

Sämmtliche Nitroderivate der Amine und Phenole zeigen einen mehr oder weniger ausgesprochenen Farbstoffcharakter, welcher namentlich bei Letzteren stark zur Geltung kommt, weil die Nitrogruppe stets als säurebildendes Chromophor wirkt und den sauren Charakter des Hydroxyls bedeutend verstärkt.
