Zusammenfassung
Die vermehrte Anwesenheit von Granulozyten und Monozyten prägt das feingewebliche Erscheinungsbild der Psoriasis in der Haut in charakteristischer Weise, v. a. in Form der Munro-Mikroabszesse. Aus dem histologischen Bild können jedoch keine wesentlichen Rückschlüsse über die Funktion dieser Zellen gezogen werden. Es liegt daher nahe, die Funktion aus dem peripheren Blut isolierter Granulozyten und Monozyten von Patienten mit Psoriasis im Vergleich zu gesunden Normalpersonen zu untersuchen. Die hier dargestellten Befunde beinhalten die Erzeugung von Sauerstoffintermediären aus Phagozyten, denen bei der Abtötung von Mikroben und Tumorzellen sowie bei Entzündungsvorgängen wichtige Aufgaben zufallen. Die Ergebnisse können möglicherweise auch für die Ätiopathogenese der psoriatischen Osteoarthropathie von Bedeutung sein. Zunächst sollen jedoch die Phagozyten kurz beschrieben werden und im besonderen die Bildung von Sauerstoffintermediären charakterisiert werden.
