Abstract
In this paper the problems of vibration of elastic systems under broadband exitation are considered. As an example the random vibration of structures due to acoustic pressure fluctuations radiated from the hot jet may be mentioned [1]. The frequencies of the acoustic pulsation are distributed in the wide interval — from 10 to 10000 cps. These pulsations can exite a great number of structural modes simultaneously. Thus the integral method for the approximate solution of the problem can be readily developed.
