Abstract

It is a benign tumor the cells of which tend to differentiate in osteoblasts, producing osteoid and bone. In most cases it is distinguished from osteoid osteoma by its clinical, radiographic, anatomical features, and by its progression. Nonetheless, there are transitional and intermediate cases located somewhere between osteoid osteoma and O.B.
