Abstract

The two mold halves of blank and blow molds are inserted into special carriers which by means of various gear mechanisms allow the opening and closing of molds as well as maintenance of their closed condition against blow pressure. In the following section some characteristic examples are discussed in accordance with Kiper’s [1] report.
