Abstract
The computation of transient eddy currents, very important in designing of electrical devices is very difficult when using the so called “domain methods”, finite element or difference method (krawczvk5). Therefore, an effort was made to find a new approach and it is just the boundary element method BEM which seems to be far more appropriate to this problem. The eddy current problem can be described in various terms and in this paper the magnetic vector potential was employed.
